⚖ Simple Method to Start Finding your Life Purpose

5 posts in this topic

Disclaimer— in the guidelines section of this forum it is prohibited to share data from the products of Leo Guro for obvious reasons. Note that I am not doing that here and that this is my own idea. In fact, the idea is so simple that it could be anyone's idea.

● ● ●

Introduction— I was greatly inspired by Leo's video about finding your life purpose on YouTube. The reason for this is because I have a lot in common with Leo, I also started out working in the video-game industry, and then trying my own business ventures, and so on. And now, here I am trying to find my life purpose.

● ● ●

The method— Let's dive right into it. The method is simple, really. It won't guarantee you the Life Purpose you are looking for deep down inside since that requires a lot of work and is quite a complex topic. However, if you are just a student like me and can't afford the 'The Ultimate Life Purpose Course', this will be a great way to start figuring things out for yourself. With this method, you will sow the seeds for future insight and development, so that you may reap those rewards.

  1. Write down the activities you enjoy doing or have a passion for.
  2. Write down the subject matters you enjoy knowing more about.
  3. Write down what you think your talents are.
  4. Find a common pattern among the things you have written down.
  5. After finding the common pattern; try to describe the essence of that pattern.
  6. Write a sentence based on the pattern you have found like this: ''My life purpose is to [pattern]''.
  7. Try to figure out the activity that you could do in the future that revolves around your life purpose.
  8. Identify the skills required you need to master to follow your life purpose.

● ● ●

Rough example— below is a rough example to illustrate the method better, thus you need to understand that you will have to do this more in-depth on your free time.

1, 2, 3 List of activities— Writing, blogging, public speaking, discussing intellectual ideas with people, reading, gathering information.
4 Common pattern— Ideas, sharing knowledge.
5 Description of essence— Gathering information, contemplating that information, combining ideas, and then sharing those ideas!
6 Sentence— My life purpose is to share knowledge so that people may get valuable insights.
7 Future— Write my own book, become a great public speaker & lecturer.
8 Skills— Learn about rhetoric, debate, improve grammar skills, learning basic writing skills and form.

And of course, work on those skills!

Write down the activities you enjoy doing or have a passion for.

  • I enjoy looking/creating art
  • I enjoy solving problems that require creativity/ multiple solutions to a single difficult answer
  • I enjoy contemplating

Write down the subject matters you enjoy knowing more about.

  • philosophy
  • physics
  • psychology
  • stuff that starts with P - HEHEHEHEHE paradox

Write down what you think your talents are.

  • I am passionate
  • can look at the bigger picture
  • I am emo

Find a common pattern among the things you have written down.

  • Describes life/society
  • looking at things in many different/new perspectives
  • difficult/deep questions

After finding the common pattern; try to describe the essence of that pattern.

  • Exploring different ways of viewing reality/life (idk wat to call it) to solve problems.

Write a sentence based on the pattern you have found like this: ''My life purpose is to [pattern]''.

My life purpose is to solve problems by exploring alternate realities/perspectives.

Try to figure out the activity that you could do in the future that revolves around your life purpose.

Attempt to understand my dads weird photos of a an orb coming from the sky to my grandmas hospital room during her death

Identify the skills required you need to master to follow your life purpose.

Math, comp sci, physics, philosophy, meditation, psychedelics, engineering
