For seekers: What kind of spiritual help do you most need?

4 posts in this topic

I was a long-time spiritual seeker for decades. Now I'm a finder -- and am doing a little market research on the teaching side of things, to see whether I want to teach.

Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated.

What I'd like to know is, if you're a seeker...

What kind of help with the spiritual search do you most strongly want and need -- and what would you be willing to pay for it? (If you wouldn't ever be willing to pay -- that's fine, too, just let me know)

--one-on-one coaching?

--an e-course?

--an app?

--something else?

What would draw you to a particular teacher or method over all the million others who are out there screaming that they know what they're talking about?

What are your biggest obstacles and difficulties which you cannot find help with?

Do you like the idea of a teacher who is affiliated with a specific tradition -- or do you prefer one who is not part of a tradition?

Anything else you want to add?

Thanks!

There is difference between spiritual teacher and a fully enlightened master.

When inside you everything becomes silent, you are no more as you used to be – a person. Now you are just a fragrance, a presence. Anybody who is intelligent is bound to feel something new that he has never experienced before.

People have named it in different ways, because people are different. Somebody will say, ”It is a hypnotic force.” Somebody will say, ”It is something like magnetism.” Somebody will say, ”It is mesmerism.” Somebody will say, ”It is charisma.” Somebody will say, ”We don’t know exactly what it is.” One thing is certain: it has a tremendous gravity, it pulls you towards itself.

Most beautifully said <3

All those questions seem to come from someone who's looking to get more than to give. And who has like a ton of work left to do on themselves.

You are right, an enlightened master has to do nothing and people come to them by themselves to enjoy the power of being, the presence awareness.

Even to a teacher who has their own work in progress but who's looking to give and to share, people will still come in large numbers. Like Leo and his very giving website. Some people who come here would pay for more advanced materials, while others would give their presence, contribution, attention, helping to grow a good website who might eventually become profitable via commercials.

It's all a balance of giving and receiving and giving comes first.
