Is there in real truth? There is always a alternate truth.each person has his or her particular version of truth and for them it is this truth.the way we percieve and react to an event becomes a truth .so there is no utimate truth .just alternate reactive truths.

Nobody has the absolute truth. Truth is so vast! All truths are bound to be relative. It is the word ‘absolute’ that has dragged the whole of humanity into misery. The Mohammedan thinks he has the absolute truth in the Koran; he becomes blind. The Christian thinks the absolute truth is in the Bible. The Hindu thinks the absolute truth is in the Gita, and so on, so forth. 

Whatsoever we know and whatsoever we can ever know is bound to remain relative.

Yes.the realization the there can be alternate truths can bring peace to everyone and the whole mankind .if we accept the fact that there is space for every version of truth ,and we can live with our own Truth will lead to Harmony and Peace

@Deepu The problem is that the Truth in not believable. For example, you are the only one who could ever know it.    Does that sound believable, or not believable? See what I’m sayin? It’s true though. ?

Thats wat I am saying.we can just believe our own truths and be happy.we don't have to force someone or manipulate to make others believe the truth we believe.we can leave it to individual choice and discretion.isnt that fair too?

The only absolute truth I know is that I am, but I'm sure there are others. The thing is that to know absolute truths is to give up your own separate existence, truth is beyond the reach of mind. It is a matter of experience.

@Highest so it means to experience truth soul has to believe in it and not just mind .it is more like spiritual experience rather than anything else

Of course that’s fair.

But what is the difference between a belief, and the truth?

Do you really think you can believe your own truths? 

Does that statement even make logical sense to you?
