Explaining Human Behavior

1 post in this topic

Today, I was wondering about all the explanation and angle that we can use to notice and explain our behavior.

Finding - ( So, far, would like people here to add on for everyone )

1. Thoughts - Feelings - Behavior ( Popular in all self help )

Albert Ellis in 1977 found out the relation that our thought lead to emotional state that guide our behavior.

So, the first way to observe our behavior is our thoughts.

Our thoughts can be comprehensively understood by

- Studying Of Evolutionary Psychology ( OUR DEFAULT SOFTWARE MIND )

- Studying Of Development Psychology ( UPGRADE OF OUR SOFTWARE MIND, THROUGH LEARNING )

- Studying Emotional Intelligence

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I TAKE INTO CONTEXT HERE TO LEARN OUR THOUGHTS?

Various Ways To Change Behaviour Through Thoughts

- Cognitive Behavior Therapy ( Focus - Change thoughts to change feeling and behavior ), which is kinda like POSITIVE THINKING.

IMPORTANT - Require "SElF AWARENESS"

- OTHERS WAYS ?

- ANY SPIRITUAL WAY?

I was thinking that through CBT, we can reconditioned our conscious thoughts but what about "INTUITION" that secret voice of thought that comes from different dimensions? That secret and suble thought can be powerful form of CBT

2. Habits

Charles Duhigg book "Power Of Habit" demonstrates the large sum of our day to day action are conditioned in our habits.

So, the second way to observe our behavior is automatic non conscious activity.

This can be understood by

- Studying Charles Duhigg book "Power Of Habit"

- Studying on "Willpower"

- Studying our "Homeostasis"

Various Ways to make or break habits

- Reconstructing our "Cue - Routine - Reward" Circle of habit.

- In Addition, optimizing our "WILLPOWER"  usage to go through the changes.

AGAIN - SELF AWARENESS IS CRUCIAL HERE TOO. Also "Willpower Usage" and Triggering "Key Habits" that lead to change multiple habits.

- OTHERS WAYS OR LEARNING IMPORTANT TO BREAK OR MAKE HABITS?

3. ( Will Research and add more later ) Plus, everyone feel free to add to the list.

Make it powerful post that explain behavior in different angles and provide approaches to change bad behavior make good one.
