Isn't the true Life Purpose of anyone to continually raise their consciousness?

6 posts in this topic

OK, someone might say "my life purpose is to make people around me happy" or something similar to that.

How do you know you are spreading happiness? If you want to take care of others, first take care of yourself. Otherwise you might do more harm than good. If your life purpose is already centered on yourself then taking care of yourself is already a priority.

By taking care of yourself, you work on being a better version of you. But how do you know about "better" without raising your consciousness? Before doing any improvement, you make sure you understand how is it an improvement and that you are perceiving things correctly. So there is no way around raising consciousness.

Even without deliberately setting this as your life purpose, this will happen anyway. Going through life and its pains forces you to have a higher consciousness, but the process will be more rocky than it needs to be.

The life purpose of anyone is very close to: "create a situation that is financially and socially stable enough for you to continually raise your consciousness as the years pass". The financial situation does not have to be one of abundant wealth. The more the wealth, the more this will hinder you being more conscious. The more conscious you are, the more you realize that you do not really need a life purpose to be fulfilled.

This is definitely accurate and something a lot of people neglect. They want to give before they have anything to give or understand what true giving is.

This is where I see things differently.

Yes, technically you only need Being if you want to be fulfilled. But what I've found is that as you become more conscious, your life purpose and desire to serve others increases. You can't ignore it.

As far as the wealth thing goes, I'd challenge you on your beliefs about money. I don't see wealth as a hindrance to raising consciousness at all, in fact I see it as a great tool as long as the person has the right intention.

For example, let's say I wanted to open up a yoga studio that teaches people to become more conscious. Or maybe you wanted to attend some workshop to see a spiritual teacher. All of that tends to cost money.

I want everyone to have more money than they could possibly every spend. The behavior that people engage in when they are in financial scarcity is the complete opposite to what it means to be conscious. It's selfish and downright sickening to be honest.

You could argue that everyone should be so enlightened that it doesn't make a difference, but that's not living in current reality. We live in the 21st century where money is still a valuable tool and people very much care about having enough.

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

And it goes On and On, On and On"

Yes, true. It is not wrong to already have big wealth. However it is wrong to want more and more wealth. That right there tells you that you're on the wrong path. It is correct to want to GIVE more and more. Going for a job or an activity just because it pays more and not because it's right and purifying for you means you're listening to your ego.

I take Leo as a very good and admirable example - with his popularity he could be making millions right now. But he doesn't want that, he explained it in some of his videos. He chose to invest in raising his consciousness and making his videos richer. He doesn't need big wealth for that.

Yes it's a great and rewarding idea for everyone. Not a true life purpose.

Yes, and yet surprising, hardly anyone is interested.

Careful adding this into your perspective. There’s enough duality to make you believe without it.

In my case i put the raise of consciousness above money and above the whole world, including family. I live a minimalist life.
