How I healed my emotional problems

5 posts in this topic

Hi guys. Recently I made a big discovery and I was able to heal my emotional problems by myself in just few weeks. I know this sounds outrageous, but please try to keep on reading and you won't regret it. I knew Bioenergetic physical/expressive exercises were effective because I stayed few years in an ashram where new people (non-seekers) would come to do "therapeutic/meditation groups" in the weekend, and I could see the immediate effects it had on them (cry of relief), but they didn't work on me for some reason, even though I had emotional problems. Later, after reading Bioenergetic Analysis books, I found why: I had the "fixation" of enlightenment. Alexander Lowen gives the example of a patient who lost her mother when he was five, and developed the "fixation" that he could bring her back to life; the exercises became effective only after a therapist had this intuition and asked the patient if it was true (see page 185 of 'Bioenergetics' by Lowen, 1975).

After becoming aware of my fixation, the exercises became effective, but this is not the big discovery, in fact Bioenergetic Analysis has been around for over 50 years and if it was really so effective it would be already mainstream by now. In fact I discovered that the most "important" bioen. exercise (most people need it nowadays, and it targets multiple common types of traumas/emotional problems) doesn't work if it's not immediately followed by a simple cathartic exercise. When you do other bioen. exercises you feel the trauma while doing the exercise, and after repeating it few times, you don't feel it anymore, which means you healed it (you have to feel it to heal it), and you don't need that exercise anymore. But with this other "important" exercise, it doesn't work like that, you feel the trauma only later when you do that simple cathartic exercise. After healing my traumas I made another discovery: there is another bioen. exercise that Lowen used to teach his patients how to express anger. But just as the one above, it needs to be immediately followed by another simple exercise. Repressed anger stacks up if a child isn't allowed to express it, like almost everybody is nowadays. With the combination of these two exercises, I "released" (felt) all my childhood repressed anger.

These 2 text files contain the simple exercises that can heal any emotional problem/trauma and repressed anger. I know this is a bold statement, so the only way for you to know if they work or not is to try them out. I guarantee they will because they did on me and we are both humans. I don't do this for money or fame, I remain anonymous and I don't ask for money or donations to make this clear and spread these information as fast as possible.

This is awesome, thanks!

@Arzack, one question: What are the questions useful for after each exercise? Does it have any significance to us or do we need background knowledge to use these?

Spirituality is any movement towards the Unnamable. Everything is spiritual.

The only true way out Resistance is going into it because any way out of it is staying in it.

The purest life possible is surrendering to the Absolute.

They are taken from a book, they can help to do the exercise correctly, but don't overthink them. If you can't relate to some of them, that's ok; it was like this for me too.
