You said in one of your posts that values are ego-transcedence    

 

I grow up as a Muslim, and we are told to remain virgin till we get married. Now, after questioning my islamic morality, I can see that it is ok to have sex outside of marriage. However, there is still deep feeling inside of me that it is not a spiritual thing to just go and use a girl for sex. 

 

My question is: Is it to use a girl just for sex?

When is it ok to USE a girl just for sex? Please get real. If you have that attitude you will definitely suffer because of your inauthenticity. Have sex because you want it but if you start to use people just to get off then you will suffer. But if you really are interested and want to explore and be authentic about it, then it's not a problem.

Venerable Guan Cheng is an expert monk. So, when I watch his video, he said that you are not gonna get away with it if you just want to satisfy your ego, you will pay for it later on.

@Empty Firstly, morality does not exist. You can do anything you want.

Murder, rape, incest, drugs, genocide, racism... whatever. It is all part of reality and in fact an action of God.

That is an extremely important point to understand. Until you understand this, you will never become deeply spiritual because you are not yet conscious of how your mind constructs these rules.

If you reject evil, you in fact create evil. The solution to evil is to fully love it. The problem of exploitation is not solved with judgment or suppression, but LOVE!

You want to realize and embody Divine Love. As your ego dissolves, what is left in its place is pure love for everything, and that's when your actions become truely moral. Morality is not about rules, it's about acting Good for no reason whatsoever, because it comes from your heart.

Why would you want to use a girl for sex? Why not love her without necessarily marrying her?

Sex is something you two can both enjoy. In fact, good sex is one of the greatest things a man can gift to a woman. Learn how to really please your girl in bed, and she will love you for it.

Follow your heart, NOT rules from authority figures. Your heart is more powerful than all the rules in the world. When your heart is strong it allows you to overpower all of your selfish fearful egoic impulses.

Rules are designed for heartless people.

how do you follow your heart? is that the same as intuition/inner voice? sometimes I can feel it more clearly, but in general it's something I struggle a bit with. sometimes, when I hear or think 'follow your heart' then I just don't feel anything. sometimes I just can't discern between heart and mind chatter and logic..

@Empty you reached the whole point of forbidding sexual intercourse outside marriage.. It's really disgusting if  you think about it clearly... That is not what you really want... You don't want just to satisfy your sexual desires that actually  will never be satisfied by this way... You are a Supreme creature you better than this... What  will really satisfy you is a true relationship in which sex is not the whole point... It's just an essential part of something greater... Love!... That is the whole idea behind marriage... Now imagine if God said you are allowed to have sex outside marriage.... Hhhhh.... It will be hell on earth.... Following sexual desires without constraints is very very dangerous... It is the perfect playground for ego...

Remember religion has to deal with unconscious people... It has the responsibility of protecting them from low consciousness in a hope they someday will wake up and use it to reach higher state of consciousness... Reach a true relationship with infinite.. With god

Now before you start to questioning Islamic morality... Go deeper question the existence of God... Because the ideas that @Leo Gura show you are based on  non - existence of a conscious God.. When he talks about God he refers to it as just infinity.... Not conscious infinity.... This idea of consciousness of God who is infinite is the core of Islam.. So don't be dumb and build your ideas in a wise way... If you're not sure  about Islam start your path in skeptism but start from all the way down..from God 

I am a Muslim too actually and there was sometime in my life when I lost my faith in everything... But I started my path by questioning the existence of God.... Then after I understood that there is  noway this whole creation can be without God.... Then trying to understand the goal of this creation and the goal of religion ... And after I started to understand Islam in  a deeper way, in the way that God wanted, in the way in which Islam is free form all nonsense that was attached to it by foolish unhonest "religious" people who wants to project their low consciousness on Islam and started to see the way of deep personal development that can be created on the idea of the existence of a conscious God... This idea and this religion has actually been the way for tens of thousands of saints that saw the true essence of this religion... It is just a way for a real relationship with god

And finally if you reached the conclusion that a conscious God really exists then ask him to be with you, to enliten you, to show you the way and he will!.

Marrige has nothing with love. And love has nothing to do with organized religion. 

All such belief is based on fear/ego therefore not love. 

You can believe what you want but remeber its all on behalf of your own self imposed image. Times have changed. Life is dynamic and active not static like that of thought/belief. 

To live life through the limited, finite, and static field of thought is not living but is residing a prepetual movement of death.

While we're on the subject, @ahmad ibdah , to You, what are the limits of this "constraint" to You ?

I am curious about what You consider to be truth from these questions:

Is it enough "punishment" for the ego itself to disallow sex before marriage? Or maybe it have to involve harming or shaming those who have done this "wrong"? Where are the limits? Plus, who or what uses marriage as the divider? Is it God, or?

Depends what we mean by pray. Whether it’s a time for appreciation or request. 

For me there is appreciation at every moment. I don’t personaly call this praying though?
