more or less about personal development but i think its related to career or life purpose:

westworld if tv series count (artificial intelligence)

agent of shield (they have lmd which is artificial intelligence in one of their seasons) and they are really good to show that the characters are dealing with problems like real humans which is kinda rarer to see in other tv shows 

spartacus tv series? 

the trueman show

The imitation game!!! 

It's about a guy with a vision to end a war who had to face many many heart-wrenching obstacles along the way 

I found it inspiring, creative and it gets you really connected with the movie. If you like war movies you'll love this.

Those are TV series that are fairly Historical accurate.

1. Whiplash (a guy with a vision. Loses grip on surroundings, very ego-centric. But its good to see what it takes to reach a goal, its not easy. Sacrifices are made)

2. Shape of Water (its also about the energy yin and yan; sick masculine and healthy feminine)

The Big Sick (struggles of love, relationships are messy)

Erernal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (lovely story)

3. Requiem For a Dream (my favorite movie, 11/10. About seeking happiness with wrong methods)

Whiplash (this category as well )

4. Intern

5. Forest Gump (I love this movie so much; the dude just lives authenticly, no mask, no pretending. Just an innocent beautiful life)

6. Waking Life (ouu man this is deep, many philosophies are cramped in this movie)

7. Sicario (different environments, different morals. Clashes between the two opposites)

8. The Matrix (Classics )

9. 12 Angry Man (about open-mindedness, and the importance of discussion).

10. Split (cool movie but idk if is self-actualizing...)

American History X (its also about ideology and dogma, also psichology, maybe its more about 9. category)

The Hunt (could be categories 3. 9. 10.)
