Sleep Paralysis

7 posts in this topic

Hey. I have been following Leo and practicing different meditation techniques for more then a year now and I have been experiencing different levels of consciousness but recently I had a sleep paralysis experience and it completely broke my perceptions of reality. I will try to explain what happened the best I can. So before I went to sleep that night I decided to meditate for an hour and a half while listing to ASMR healing videos on YouTube which I highly recommend you try while meditating because it feels absolutely amazing. One's I finished I was in a comfortable meditative state and went to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I instantly started to lucid dream. In my dream I found my self driving my car at night with the head lights off. After what felt like just a few moments in the dream I then found my self looking at my room. I first thought I woke up so I tried to move my body but nothing was responding. I then decided to look around and my vision seem to do a rotational movement and I was looking behind myself at the other side of the room. At this point I was freaking out a bit. I couldn't move my body and my eyes were mostly likely closed but yet I was looking all around the room and when I was looking around it felt like my vision had a cylindrical or spherical motion to it. The sensations I was feeling were so foreign to me that I honestly didn't feel like I was human anymore. It then came to me that I must be experiencing sleep paralysis and I started to calm down and surrender to the experience. When I was looking around the room a small light seemed to appear out of no wear and it was moving around the room in a rapid motion. I was staring at it for a bit but it suddenly stopped moving almost in a way that it noticed me looking at it. It stayed still for a moment and then suddenly flashed right towards me. I then felt a rush of energy go through me and I found myself back in control of my body completely awake and energized. I then sat down and tried to analyze what in the hell just happened to me and cried for good while as well. I soon got tired and went back to sleep and everything went back to normal. I honestly have no idea what this was but I felt like I should share it on the site. If you have idea on what happened to me or have experienced sleep paralysis your self I would like to hear about it. Thanks for reading.

This is the beginning of astral projection. If you can relax in sleep paralysis, suppossedly you should enter an astral plane. I'm saying suppossedly because I'm only telling this from what I heard xD

This is also the power of the full moon. This sometimes happens for me too.

If you're not familiar with astral projection, look up Ryan Cropper. I think you could develop this Into a useful self-develpment tool.

I do believe it was a full moon the night this happened. I don't know anything about astral projection so when I get the chance I'll look it up. Thanks for telling me about it.

@Salvijus Really it can be used as a self-development tool? Do you know how?

@Phrae well Ryan Cropper is an excellent example of how it can benefit you. As far as I know you can meet all kinds of crazy shit there like your spirit guides or some demons, different planes of existence, other realities, you can go to anywhere you want. I recommend you watch some of his videos.

Sleep paralysis happens when one sticks to the mind/ideas/images/sounds/feelings etc. I speak by experience.
