Is it possible to relive a traumatic experience during an lsd trip?

So I took 400 ug of 1P-LSD and tripped in complete darkness all night. It was pretty intense and most of the memories seem blur in my head, but I do remember one moment experiencing a memory of being a scared child and being beaten. Has anyone had a similar experience? I don't even know from what moment in my life this is.

Yes this is quite normal on psychedelics as the usually bring up past events we have forgotten but never made peace with so we deal with them then and there or other things deeply stored in our subconscious that we are not aware of thus why many people come out feeling enlightened after a strong psychedelic experience.

In a sense.. You are forced to face the darkness you usually brush off and hide away on a day to day basis so you can see the light you are missing out on. My ex used to have very challenging experiences on the "come up" because the ego knows its going to be shattered and soon as she would surrender it was like i was communicating with a completely different divine being.
