how to know if real psychic or not

After reading this post by Leo https://actualized.org/insights/how-to-find-psychics-healers I am curious to visit a psychic.  I know to search online and look for reviews, but  what should i be looking out for when i visit a psyhic ?

 

What are some signs that would show the psyhic to be real or fake?

The few Psychics i have called up all asked for my full name and phone number. I am curious why they also ask for my last name this screams bad sign to me they could try to find information about me online with that info

Sounds like you're being skeptical, which is a good first step. I'm riffing here, but maybe send in a friend with a fake identity and story - or fuck it, why not go in with a fake story and identity of your own? If their advice depends on provided details, it's probably crap. If it's spiritually true and valuable then it won't matter you've gone in under false pretenses. 

Don't know how you can avoid giving them your money though. Perhaps ask a psychic?

I have not gone to see one yet as I am still not sure what type of mentality i should have meeting one. As i want to be open minded, but at same time be skeptical.
