Faith is sort of a requirement on this path right?  We confirm from experience, but before the confirmation occurs we need to have faith that what we're doing is worthwhile, otherwise how do we go on?

@SFRL Oh yeah, Spiral Dynamics, people like this concept. Discussed it a lot with friends. Everyone thinks that they are Yellow or something at first.  You need to crush them with arguments so they acknowledge they are only Orange or Blue. They become humble for a moment and then start to protect their color and say that it's not bad to be at that stage and they don't need to advance as they have everything that matters for them.
