The Alkalinity Factor of Colder Climates

1 post in this topic

I haven't found much about this in my sources, but I've seen cold weather mentioned as being alkaline in contrast to warm weather which is acidic, and that it makes sense to consume a bit more warm and cooked food in cold weather to counter that (more towards the acidic). I'm not really sure how cold weather can be alkaline. Do the elements in cold air have more electrons or something? Also, if it's alkaline, should it give any benefits at all over warmer weather? Otherwise it seems like us living in colder climates are at quite a disadvantage, being driven to eat lower energy food for longer periods of time. This would make warmer climates healthier. But we're stuck here now since our forefathers were adventurous explorers. :P On the other hand, I've seen mentioned that if our glands were working properly, they would regulate our body heat properly even on a fully raw (plant) diet.
