Going to read the Intelligent Design book from Leos list

Very skeptical, but Im going in. 

Fact 1: Science was wrong before.

Fact 2: Creationists too, to a far bigger degree.

Phenomena that couldnt be explained have been filled with god since the dawn of humanity, and it turned out wrong every single time so far. While science most of the time adjusted their theories creationists have just been completely wrong. It seems to me like creationists get pushed into a smaller and smaller corner every decade and Just like the materialist scientists, these people dont want to give up their idea of god, how else could someone seriously hold on the idea that the world was created 10.000 years ago.

After researching the author a bit I probably wouldnt have ordered the book, but now im trying to read it with an open mind. Anyone already read it and has thoughts on this?
