Which yogic technique is the best for blockage release?

10 posts in this topic

I mean I am not going to get into hardcore yoga yet. I am atm concentrated on my LP and action. I just feel like I have lots of emotional blockages, anxiety and physical tensions which hold me back. I need to release somehow. Can anyone recommend specific (one or two) yogic or any other effective technique which I could practice daily and see good results?

In Leo’s recent video on yoga he says Kriya yoga is great for this.

admin can you move this to consciousness forum please? I have opened this in a wrong place.

@Slade Yes I know. But I want one specific technique aimed only at realising these blockages.

This one is no joke. See if you can do this 31 minutes a day for 40 days.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

@aurum what's your experience with this? Is it too energizing to do before mediation? Or should I do it in a separate session?  On the other hand it might be a good precursor to concentration practice

Real Yoga that is not taught by someone. It is taught by your own Breath.

How?

You take 3 weeks alone from society, you retire in nature without human contact. After this you start to see a glimpse of reality.

Namaste, Mfks!

Definitely not too energizing, in fact I usually do it right before meditation myself. I haven't had any problems.

It's also definitely good for concentration. There's so many little things that require your attention that you really have to focus your mind. I'd say that's the hardest part.
