When To Take Supplements: Early Or Late?

At which time of the day ( or night ) should one take supplements, with breakfast, lunch or dinner? I heard that for example Omega 3 is best absorbed when taking it late, with dinner or even later. Does this apply to other supplements as well?

It depends on the supplement, for example Vit D3 supplementation would be best in the morning with food. Magnesium would be better in the evening without food, but lots of water. Solubility is crucial, is the substance you supplement water soluble or fat soluble -> fat rich foods enhance resorption of fat soluble compounds, resorption of water soluble compounds is enhanced by water consumption. Just look up the solubility of your compound.
