if the brain is not the source of consciousness , why any changement in the chemistry of the brain like getting drunk changes our awarness and consciousness ? Isn't that a proof that the brain is the source of consciousness ?

Good question.  Both the mind and the brain are in the changing Dream.  You need to find that unchanging Awareness that watches everything in the changing Dream.  It’s hidden in plain sight, but a lot of this work is discovering unchanging Awareness.  Notice that in a sense the Now never changes.  That will get you looking in the right direction.  Inquire into what is the mind?  Does the mind change?  Does Awareness ever change?  What is Awareness?  Can you confirm that Awareness never changes?

Does the character's head produce the Game Over screen?

Does a video game character even exist, let alone cause anything?

@momo the brain is like a filter. if you mess with the filter, you get different results.

but regardless of your state (drunk or w/e), there's still presence.

unless you're sleeping! then things start to get interesting. how would it be like to sleep and never wake up again?

Everything you said there, is a thought. You recognize it’s a thought (thinking), because you are not the thoughts (brain). You, are aware of this. 

That you can even comment on the change in state of mind, reveals to you, you are the awareness of it.

The brain is the initial Substance of Life. It is calculated in Light Units. Consciousness is Knowledge. Brain is the supervisor and Logic generator of that. Consciousness is the derivative of One.
