Is enlightenment safe for someone with TBI (brain injury)?

@DocHoliday thank you! Exactly my point. This is what I'm worried about, that I can't get past the revelations and them I'm left feeling worst than when I started on the enlightenment path.

@Fountainbleu In that regard, I’d probably suggest to you that you could start off with some personal development first - some self-actualisation before you go directly for the big whale of enlightenment. I mean, I wasn’t exactly in the position that you are in right now but prior to enlightenment, I suffered too from depression and a deep identity-uncertainty and was highly insecure about myself, had no self-esteem whatsoever and couldn’t properly interact in social situations. Enlightenment didn’t cure it - the implementation of it did, years later, and it still keeps on going (that’s why enlightenment is an infinitely deep process, you will keep revealing things and growing with your insights until you die). So, don’t pursue enlightenment as “the magic pill or cure” to your issues, start out smaller and be aware that even after enlightenment occurred, the implementation of it is still a lot to “work through” (even though it will kind-of unravel itself anyway if you stay on track)

I used to work with retarded people before and there were one case who couldn't speak or walk or basicly do anything by herself. But she always had this bright look in her eyes and she was always smiling or laughing. She certainly was way happier than i was/am. Was she enlightened, idk. But could've been. Her happiness made me happy everytime i interacted with her.

I think that finding out that the brain doesn't exist is the best cure to an injured brain

@Fountainbleu No one can answer that for you. You have a unique situation which is part of your unique spiritual path.

There's no reason to assume that becoming more aware of the Truth will harm you physically. Although any serious spiritual path will churn up psychological trauma and emotional baggage, which can be stressful and painful to deal with, regardless of who you are or what your health.

If you sustained brain injury, I highly recommend you research and start doing neurofeedback brain training. See the book about brain training in my book list in the Brain category. It might revolutionize your life. Neurofeedback brain training is especially effective for brain injury.

I also highly recommend you visit Dr Amen's brain clinics. He's an expert in reversing brain injury. They can do advanced scans of your brain and tell you what the problem areas and how to train to fix them.

https://www.amenclinics.com

Brain injury is something to take very seriously, and it's worth investing your time and money to fix it. The great thing about the brain is that it can be healed and repaired remarkably well. Neurofeedback brain training can bring a brain out of a coma.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Sometimes the questions people ask about enlightenment and how they twist and turn the word and meaning just pushes it further from the truth.

You guys need to drop this enlightenment thing completely if you actually want to learn anything. Its only deluding you further in illusion.

Enlightenment just is, there is nothing else too it nor anything can stop or speed up the process. It happens when it happens regardless.

@pluto thanks for your irrelevant post.

Irrelevant to your current level of consciousness/awareness. One day you'll wake up too.

@pluto irrelevant to my original post buddy.

It is relevant because enlightenment happens in divine timing regardless of what you do. You can only discipline self. Nothing will speed up the process. The universe will simply not present you with something you aren't ready for this is Universal Law.

People in this forum twist and make things so complicated and have little to no understanding of true enlightenment. The more you think about it the further from the truth you understand it. Just be, feel and live your life.

All is well

@pluto There's just many perspectives on the same subject that make it look so complicated and twisted at times since everybody tries to explain it in a differnt way, even though it can obviously not really be explained that well through language. But you sure do have a point that there's really not that much to enlightenment as a whole and that it's essentially just a fancy name for something that couldn't be more simple.

In reagrds to that "divine timing", it's fascinating just how true it is. The universe will not inherently present one with something that he is not ready for, as you stated it, even when it appears to be "harmful" or "bad" but it will always give what's necessary. This might not always be what one wants, but yeah...with enough maturity and time that's passed, we are able to perceive it that way.

Its nice to see someone here understands. Trying to 'mentally' grasp something that is beyond mental capabilities will in turn drive people mental.

Just Be. All is within and to be reminded once again, simply experience by living and feeling ect.. as thinking will only get you so far and get you caught up in the same twisted loops of limitation and illusion.

There was a very wise quote i once heard and it goes something like this:

We are not experiencing suffering, we are suffering our experiencing.

Peace & Love
