Emotional Mastery

Nothing can make you angry unless you give it permission. Have you noticed that if you're completely detached and you let reality take place, that, without a doubt, things will unfold how they should? The higher your level of awareness, the more you can, sit back and just watch things unfold. Its quite magnificent to be a spectator of.

You are spectating from No Thing. Just observe, when you sink into that awareness, in the this moment, things are just happening as they will. Why not be completely open right now?

Put your attention to your heart and let go. Give it a try.

Hope this little reminder helps.

Absolutely, Sahil Pandit.

So true, until it is time to act.

I didn't say "until it is time for you to act."

Sometimes, its time to act~ even when you don't want to have to.

What then?

imagine yourself floating on a lake. thoughts and emotions are like ripples moving across the lake, taking you wherever they are going. over time, these ripples cease to move through you, and start moving away from you. then, the lake is in stillness. you can still watch them from far, but they do not affect you. now, your moves are done effortlessly, through the inevitable occurrences of life which unfold before you.

You can't control fear though, I remember the first time I approached an attractive woman, no matter how conscious you are and determined, the irrational fear is still there, even if you are totally conscious of it being irrelevant and quite stupid.

@Shin my friend, fear is just the glue that holds all the "self" components glued together. when you face fear and pass right through it, some of the "self" breaks down.
