Why so smooth when buzzed (alcohol), yet not sober

3 posts in this topic

IDK, why are we so smooth on alcohol equilibrium, but not as much in everyday life?

Alcohol starts a process that releases dopamine in your brain - which is a "feel good" chemical. Your brain releases dopamine when you do or ingest something that gives you pleasure. Alcohol specifically releases dopamine into your brain - while most things in daily life (work, taking out the trash, buying groceries, etc.) don't. If we could rewire your brain to release dopamine when you took out the trash, it's likely you could create an addiction to taking out the trash. :)
