Are Some People So Rebellious They Will Never Become Enlightened?

8 posts in this topic

Rebellious in the sense of iconoclastic.

It’s kinda like wishful thinking that will never be actualized in reality.

You could give them Enlightenment on a silver platter and they will reject it almost by force of habit.

@Joseph Maynor @Natasha Ha. Yes, I was going to say the same thing. Lack of open mindedness combined with projection is a pretty tough one to undo. We’re all enlightened in the end though. No worries.     lol - isn’t everyone’s ex like that! ?

I'd say Osho was pretty rebellious? and he was enlightened

Read 'rebellious' in the OP meaning 'resistant to receive the truth', not rebellious as to going against the cultural norms.
