insanity vs. sanity

to become enlightened you have to lose you sanity. but, when you are done, your perception of reality is perfectly sane, although each and everyone of the other human beings are perceived as insane in some degree. the only way an enlightened one can connect to a fellow human being is with unconditional love.

I think it's largely just a difference in following more of your own internal guidance and intuition whereas a good many people have been cut off from it and just follow what the majority of society does.
