Also, there’s no such thing as mass enlightenment. When you are free, all there is, is free. @Preetom

I know I'll be dead by the time I enlighten my ass. I don't really have a fantasy of mass enlightenment or creating a puppet utopia that will serve my agendas. I want a permanent shift within me. The rest is upon grace :x

Self-acceptance was what drove me to Enlightenment.  I realized that traditional Self Help was not working for me.  Then I figured out that the work I needed to be doing is clearing all the garbage off my Sun so it could shine brightly and fully.  And I’ve been doing that work for 4 years now.  I started watching Leo’s videos in 2014.  My Sun is getting its color back now, waiting to shine fully as part of what’s here.  But there is work yet to be done.  Mostly work dismantling attachments to Ego.  Getting of the teet of those patterns.  Stopping surrendering to them.  Etc.

sounds awesome! good for you. All the best :)

According to the ancient yogic time cycles, we are at the end of Kali yuga; the darkest of all times. Out of this age, when the collective suffering becomes to extreme (maybe through some sort of a catastrophe) the paradigm of the ego collapses under it's own weight. Basically what is often happening on the individual level. After that, a new cycle of wisdom and love can arise (Sat Yoga). Because before something really, really bad happens, and unless there is a catastrophic situation of some sort that is not solvable with the current level of thinking/consciousness, the human mind is not open for any change or new input.

@Echoes Interesting, you can almost close you eyes and feel how heavy the collective ego is! It must burst.

Isn't it so, yes or no?

I'm not against practicing. Enlightenment can have a discontinuous jump aspect to it. A shift which can only come from outside the mind, outside my control..aka grace

Doesn't look that good. I saw an interview with Metzinger, philosopher of mind.. he said teachings were the most fun port of the job until it quickly changed 5 years ago. Now it's the worst part, people look down in their smartphones and are unable to concentrate.

But Leo, just let us flee away for one second. You mentioned a number, 2500. That puts us in a still early moment in the ancient roman greek civilisation. Can you imagine what it must have been, to be part of a rising civilisation, especially the roman greek one.

Debating concepts of modern politics for the first time, when everything is allowed to be idealistic and new. Your lectures would have been debated in parks by society figures. Theatre in its early innocent era. Philosophy was promising with a unexplored fields

I don't think we can even imagine the differences between early and late civilisations. In our late western decadent era we lack the collective consciousness(a sort of web) with genius nodes that early civs had.

An average joe could come up with brilliant stuff in an early civilisation , where as a "genius" can't think of anything, but mediocre stuff, in a late decadent civ that is.

But hey, new times will come, and new good eras will steal the best from our western times, thus Acutalized.org will live on.. :)

People forget that 35% of the Roman population were slaves.

In the Greek times, it was standard practice that when a city was captured, all the men would be slaughtered and all the women and children raped and sold into slavery.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
