Yes you did, it's one of the seven deadly sins.
So I'm not here to preach about religions or spirituality, but let's just take a quick look at what they say about it first:

Buddhism: Suffering (dukkha) is inherent in all life. Suffering is caused by lust.

Catholicism: Pope John Paul II said that lust devalues the eternal attraction of male and female, reducing personal riches of the opposite sex to an object for gratification of sexuality.

Hinduism: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world.

So lust is basically you trying to feel good, just for you. It is a selfish act, and therefore it will never truly fulfill you, because the reason why you pursue something is not about helping and loving someone else, but to take something from someone else, hoping it will make you happy ...

... and it does ... for a moment ... and soon enough you'll crave for more !

Rings a bell ?

Now lust isn't just about porn or masturbation, it is also about sex.
If you enter a sexual act with the main purpose to feel good, dominate and have a huge orgasm for yourself, then you'll feel hollow pretty quickly ... and crave for more !
BUT if you enter sex with the main purpose to make your partner feels good (doesn't matter if it's your gf or not, or if you have deep feelings for her), if it is all about sharing yourself to someone else, THEN sex becomes beautiful and actually fulfilling !

Now it isn't just about sex either ...
Money, power, fame, possessions etc ...
All those things aren't bad in themselves, they are just bad FOR YOU on the long run, as long as you seek pleasure in them instead of using them to make the world a better one, either by spreading love or by achieving some great things to ease the suffering of an another human being ...

Think this is bullshit ?
Look closely to your emotions, very closely when you engage in all those things ...

Feels great at first right ?

A mind that is influenced by its conditioning/thought seeks, and when one seeks in that seeking breeds contradiction, confusion, conflict. Then one attempts to escape again from that which it has created through desire ‘thought/volition. Then there’s prepetual conflict. The effect becomes the cause and the cause becomes the effect. And on and on it goes. ?

To seek security in desire through pleasure ‘lust’ is a form of escape from ones self and all the implications in association to that self. Any escape from the self is a movment by the self. Therefore self reinforcment. Dog chasing it’s tail⭕️
