Is 1 hour better than 30 min in meditation? Or does the amount of time doesnt matter?

Of cource one hour is better. Greater efforts bring greater results.

Yes, but expect a lot of emotional turmoil and mood swings to occur, as a result.

Consistency is far more important than time investment. Doing it daily is key, and concentrate on multiple short peaks rather than a single prolonged middling plateau. If you're struggling to do longer meditations, reduce the length of time, but do it more often. So if you can't stay focused for 30 minutes, try two 15 minute sessions instead. Or if you can't quite do an hour, do a couple 20-30 minute sessions.

Meditation is a State of Being. You can do it 24/7 - 365. :) Main Attention on the Breath, mainly exhalation/blow out (nirvana). That is it. After you master the Breath, you blow the wind upon earth; after that you can see clearly...

Blessings
