Everybody is a slave

2 posts in this topic

Lyrics:Everybody is a slave
No matter the color, race
No, not phyically
Something more powerful
Mentally
They got you hooked
If they happy, you happy
If they say, you sad
What kind of life is this?
And the most mindblowing thing is...
You did it to yourself
No one else

Keep putting yourself down
Yet, you want the crown
Treat yourself like a dog
Lesser than that, at least dogs have a relaxing life
When people arrive
You panic and feel sick
Its that mind click
Thoughts trigger you
And you feel like a *****

They keep hating you
They dispise you du
Soo you go and overdose on beers
Because you arent like everyone else
You feel like a queer
Is that really it?
The end of your life?
Well, you decide
I dont have the power to.

I couldn't bring myself to follow the link, but being a musician myself, I wouldn't dare dismiss this composition's sincere relevance!

Aspiring to a virtuous enlightening relationship with creation whereby you no longer rely on your own power to adapt (impersonally) to situations is key to establishing the living potential's prominent place in your life enabling you to transcend this song's particularly restrictive message.

Evidently there is a faction of urban humanity in sufficient numbers to appreciate and support such a manner of songwriting.

I hope the musicianship is otherwise inspiring~ as are (no doubt) their otherwise established repertoire.
