Overclocking your CPU?

-Soo, for arguments sake lets say that taking some potion actually opens up your mind, give you a faster path to enlightenment.

 

What I am considering is:

1. Should you?
2. Are you actually designed/ment for it?
3. How do you know?
4. Can you process the results of it in a sustainable way and time?
5. Is the path the point or is the "goal" the point?
6. Then what?

 

Do you remember that in the beginning of the pc evolution, you could overclock your processer to make it go faster?

Then you got a processor that overheated, got shorter lifespan and the other components could not really match/compliment its new speed?

It could become expensive and mess up your whole system.

 

• Considering this train of thought...are we really ment to break up to a higher level of consciousness at current bodely makeup/limitations?

@Barbarian Number 8 I like your analogy. All is illusion, so overclocking an illusionary cpu follows the illusionary laws of physics. Speaking directly about consciousness, there is nothing being overclocked. So, yes, “overclocking” it is possbile and can be extremely beneficial, but in terms of what the outcome experience is, it’s relative to the rest of the illusionary mind, not just the event of “overclocking”.

It is interesting that druggies can fry their brain and selfdevelopment can enhance the ability of the same organ.

 

Both possibilities co-exsists within the same shared illusion. Well, it could also be an illusion that the shared illusions actually is shared. But I think that that is an illusion.

It is, in a way, strange that so many (if "they" actually excists) seems to face resistanse when trying to develop.

-Why are the Enlightened program, that is already on the drive, so difficult to run install.exe by click only, but needs to be first unZipped by a slow CPU, so slow that a overclocking might be needed.

I am a bit thoughtful that going that route would be like trying to run Win 98 Plus on a pre-Pentium machine. Yes, it can be there but might not work as intended but rather as designed. With or without overclocking.

   I loved it. I was one of those kids that took everything apart, and put computers together. Lol.

Because it’s the electricity, which the kick ass top of the line computer would never pay any attention to, though it is due to it.

I can only assume that someone could ‘get there’ without overclocking. But assuming is fraudulent and useless. Better to dissect the bugs, run the antivirus, and insure a proper reboot.

Potion or Psychedelic ?

Here's the key

Go into the deepest virgin forest with the highest mountains you can find and meditate. You can enter states within 5-10 minutes that usually take 30-40 minutes at home. I experienced this myself the other day, i was on a deep hike up the mountains and every hour i would stop and meditate for 5-10minutes on a rock or next to a tree and i could feel the vibrations so much more profoundly and when i opened my eyes to continue my hike everything was vibrating similar to when i am in a deeper stage of meditation at home which requires excellent stillness and much longer time to get there.

I always knew this since i was young even and experienced it many times but everyone seems to ignore and forget about it.

The more naked you are the more whole you become.

From tripping a lot, I have seen how bad trying to rush your awakening can lead to. Deep down I am not even sure if I want enlightenment. It came to me various times in different trips the following: we are gonna experience the Absolute when we are dead. This seems obvious, but this helps me slow the process down. Most of the times I feel like I am hyperaware, and that I should practice some unconsciousness. I always remember: "Be a turtle!"

@cetus56 I got one of those. Set it all up. Asked it how to make an even better computer. It’s in an existential crisis right now, so I’m just waiting.

@pluto  -Thank you very much for the post!

When I was much younger I used to hike alot in dense forest and when taking a break, just sitting on the moss in the "humanly-noicefree-silence" and letting my senses follow the forestssounds. It felt like the wind blew right throu me as my mind where following the sounds. I just thought it to be nice back then.

I had forgot about that. And now that I meditate I wonder what that will do to me! This can be something _really_ good to explore with my better/enhanced mindset. This must be tested! Thank you very much for the reminder!

@Gabriel Antonio -Ja, I am considering if the point of "enlightenment" really is a sensible "goal". It more and more seems like a frantic "must have" that can be showed off like a shiny medaltrinket to the a-and ah-ing ingroup.

Maybe it should be more like a lighthouse, used by the lost to find safe harbour and avoid the cliffs in stormy darkness.

Nobody really goes for the lighthous itself but for what it provides.

 

Something like when I travelled to Berlin to see the historical Brandenburger Tor and finding it totally underwhelming and without any toilets nearby. Very dissapointening.

The travel itself, was however very enriching.

@cetus56 -My friend, we are already there.

Consider that most teens can´t do basic math and pathfinding, but with the iphone connected straight to their heads...they manage very well and in some cases exceeds the pre-telefonus-humans abilities.

I, however, doubt that wisdom always is based on raw(brain)power/intelligens.
