To simplify the understanding of Reiki is when a child is hurt and runs to its mother then the unconditionally loving mother comforts the child and naturally kisses/palms the place of injury which by universal law creates a greatly enhanced level of healing thus why most of the time the child feels so much better and the pain is reduced and forgotten within minutes. The child's belief that the mother will heal it also significantly amplifies the effect. - This is Universal Energy
