what are the determinants of joy and delight?

what makes a person experience joy and delight doing a certain thing while if it were to be another person doing the same thing, he wouldnt experience anything? what can one do to increase the probability of experiencing joy and delight?

I think, to experience joy and delight you need to possibly give yourself permission to, and then to immerse yourself in your senses.

It is an on or off switch.

Try it w food you eat, instead of just eating immerse yourself in the texture and flavor.

You are joy and delight. You are pure bliss.

What does not feel the bliss is the ego that is always worried, and bored, etc... 

That's why when you do meditation and you can see reality the way it is, without the filter of the ego, you feel bliss.

Because that's what you are, you are pure bliss.
