Does New church increase neurosis  ? 

In the last year my family started going to church,  an envagelic one    !  I was living away  for three and a half years in London and I came back around July this year and noticed that family was very different  ,  they are constantly unhappy and asking God for things and blaming him for the financial crisis that's happening in my country and it's affecting all of us... 
So my question is does activelly worship God increase neurosis  ? 
The service in those church's are based on some sort of false prophecy if you know what I mean 
 And by the way they are judging so much right now... It's crazy

To me church speaks the truth and the way they communicate it is easily misunderstood because they themselves dont understand it fully because they think God is seperated from them to ask for his help...
