Grace of an enlightened master

[How to be wise]

According to sadhguru, you can become enlightened much faster (or at least have some big mystical experience) when you are meditating next to an enlightened being. Is this true? Have any of you experienced this ‘grace’ before?

It is like tuning forks...you strike one and all the others of the same note in the area start resonating with it.

It is possible to be pulled (so to speak) into deep stillness, silence of mind, peace, etc. when in the company of someone who is very still, silent in mind, at peace, etc.

Just like if you enter a room in which someone is very angry...even if they are not trying to show it...you can tell and just being in the room with them agitates you a bit as well.

This is why the company you keep is important.
