Beware of this Psychological trap!

49 posts in this topic

Sometimes beliefs can cause paranormal beliefs.  Like beliefs about who the voice is can actually cause a whole host of beliefs.  You might convince yourself that you are conversing with a tree —  but what’s really happening is the beliefs you hold are creating these sounds.  This is an insight I had recently that I will write about in my journal.  Our beliefs create the voice.  It’s a cause and effect kind of thing.  You don’t realize how much of your experience is CAUSED by the expectations placed on beliefs — on thoughts that are clung to.

Does @Leo Gura have any videos about the difference between belief and direct consciousness or something of the sort?

Seems sorely needed. Can't really get anywhere in this field if that difference isn't clear. Can't open your eyes if you don't know they're closed.

I really think i did see an actualized vid with a topic like "fake growth and real growth"

fake growth = belief real growth = conscious

@star ark

In that video he told that

fake growth=external change of circumstances

real growth=releasing a certain need

Something like that.

oh ok, I'm fairly new to actualized, probably only 30 vids in and occasionally rewatching

cheers

edit you could possibly view those as the same thing, people believe what is proposed to them or what they see outside, and change their beliefs as the circumstances change but pure consciousness is inside and needs nothing to be satisfied.

1.

an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.

“Everything that you activate in your vibration becomes a truth.
You can make cancer true. You can make violence true.
You can make clarity true. You can make poverty true.
You can make abundance true. You can choose anything
and give it your attention and make it truth.

We say, a novel approach would be
to pick things you like and make those true.
But before you’re going to be able to do that,
you’ve got to say, “It’s not about what’s true and untrue.
It’s about what I choose to activate and turn into truth.”

Ironically enough there are two beliefs baked right into this statement, one, that truth cannot be reliably ascertained through the mind and secondly what true skepticism means.
