There is a very thin line between success and ego. Does success build ego? What is success? What is ego?

Success is ego given substance. 

Ego determines whether one is ready to taste the success and sustain it or not.
Most of us conceal our egos and practice humility. However, certain people, who do not do so, and let their ego thrive, are driven by an innate belief in themselves to achieve what they believe in. 
The major drawback remains that while chasing our success with the ego, we end up ignoring the fact that we might be heading towards a wrong direction. And people who check on us are conveniently shooed away. 
There's no guarantee of success, rather a chance of a failure in such a scenario.

Thus, according to me, in order to achieve success, one must leverage on one's talent, empathy, skill, and humility.
And most importantly, let confidence be the ego with character.
That way, the confidence from ego shall prosper with success.
