Feeling of terror during meditation

I've some really strong sense of terror during meditation as if Satan going to jump in front of me.

It's a good sign and not to be avoided and run from, so what's the best strategy to get max effect out of meditation session? Just let fear to take over you and sort of go deeper into fear and get absorbed into it without trying to do anything with it? Or turn on bravery mode and go into fear with strong heart where you simultaneously feel terror and courage? These strategies seem different and I tried both but I still dunno which one will maximize effect in meditation.

Don't do anything. Just observe. It's just another experience and it's not more important than other experiences. 

Soon it will pass :)
