If there is thought “knowledge of the past  that the center accumulates and projects into the future” then the now is not met actually. To perceive “the now” implies that each moment is met without that content of thought distorting the actual happening.

Actual being the moment of perception before thought enters in and alters the experience. 

The center is the me. My identity, which is given continuity by the movement of thought. Memories of the past, and according to those memories, projections deposited on top of the now and forecasted into the future. 

Hope this makes some sense. Check into though. Never accept. Investigate??
