Elite Men Of The Army & Emotional Mastery

14 posts in this topic

When U.S Marines visited Egypt they commented that the Egyptian Special Forces' training was brutal and not human. In my opinion western countries focus on technology and psychological advancements while the east focuses on bodybuilding. However each side has its own unique training and strategies. And all of them deserve respect for their suicidal missions for their countries.

And murder women and children, and torture them if needed, without feeling any emotions whatsoever because they are dead inside.

Such heroes.

@Shin My point was that emotionally intelligent people are required in such fields. Although I don't like politics and debates, I consider "Some" of my country's military men as heroes, Because you have no idea what terrorism was doing in our land. And the army is the only force that fought against them. Anyway as I said my point wasn't political it's just about abilities and psychological skills. No more debate please and thank you.

An emotionally intelligent human being wouldn’t rationalize such violence by any means. Only victims of conditioning that lack  an understanding in themselves commit such vile acts. To claim responsibility for your country, ethnicity, beliefs, and ideological preferences over the human race as a whole is an act of total irresponsibility.

I have a life long friend who went into the service. He was the fun guy in the bunch, the life of the party. He enlisted for the free college. Now he’s a pile of PTSD. Can’t even be around him. It’s sad. Emotional intelligence is connection to Self. Killing, is not emotional intelligence.

“Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, use, understand, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.”

@OkaythenI understand there friend....As I said they are victims of there conditioning such a person lacks an understanding of the mind “thought”. This fear and insecurity is the result of this lack of self inquiry and self understanding. The fact is it is irresponsible either way. I know the preasures that come along with culture and conformity. That’s why we need to speak out and bring attention to an obvious problem in the world... I’m just stating the facts that I see so clearly. I’m not attacking this unconcious behavior. But it’s our responsibility to learn from it and put and an end to what we see as dangerous. This is intelligence.

Unconcious behavior is given continuity by society, culture, and the conditioning that has been handed down through the ages. The more we show how immoral our morals are the more conscious behavior will blossom.

like I said I’m not attacking anyone. I’m just expressing what is all so clear and what is actually happening.

@Okaythen ...I understand sir, but it’s not us vs them. There is no division between us and them. We are a antagonistic, brutal, competitive, ambitious, and violent people. This is who we are. We are the problem. I’m responsible to express these facts about oursleves.

To bring light to these acts of division and violence there needs to be an awarness that this stuff is happening and why it is so. In this understanding of the problem comes its own solution. This is how change will come about for future generations. To call out what is offensive to the human race now, maybe even stepping on a few misled people’s toes is worth it to me. The future is all we can influence. The actions in the now are done. We are all responsible in changing our selves inwardly to bring about outward change. Such means of change are rather necessary. This self knowing and understanding of conditioning is the very thing will help those soldiers combat the ptsd and so on. It’s our responsibility and those soldiers especially to show people of the future that violence is not the way.

If a person rationalizes there choices and actions because they get a sense of security or validation then that person is a hypocrite and deceiving themselves and others. The ability to see there mistakes clear without justification is intelligence and it’s never to late to do so.

In self learning or self inquiry into thought we can see that thought divides. Thought is responsible for this reality. It’s not your thought or my thought there it just THOUGHT

Ok everyone has his own point of view. but let me add this: if you were captured by enemy forces, you have to have the skills of evading their interrogation, so you have to manipulate  and manage your emotions for surviving which is managing emotions for a positive intention. won't you call that emotional intelligence?!

The problem with you people in the west or any safe country that you're used to civilian life (I'm not defending war) But don't tell me about PTSD or political, philosophical, or moral points. like I said I was talking about a skill in a career that's it.

For the 100th time please post kind comments and don't be aggressive. after all we're here to discuss each other. thank you. and have a nice day.

Emotions are subjective. So if one was emotionally intelligent they would have the capacity to observe objectively without the center influencing every action. And most likely not get involved in the never ending battle of good vs evil.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions
