How To Get People To Follow Your Vision?

I am really curious to know, what do you guys think that would be the best way to present something. For example, you have a tremendous idea, which also sound great, however, how do you convince others to also believe in it? 

In other words, how do you get people to follow your vision, like the great leaders of this earth do?

I would say you have to believe in your project and then try to show others your vision. If the idea is good people will follow.
