Who Created This Universe?(philosophy)

It is the creation that created the universe. The creator and creation are one and the same thing.

In that case what created the creator of the creation? You simply arrive at a series of infinite creators which lead to nothing.

I'm not sure I agree with you either that creator and creation are one and the same thing - If I painted a painting I wouldn't call myself 'The Painting' but 'The Painter.' Indeed, the Painting may resemble some aspects of my personality, as the universe resembles God's, but I am not it.

There's only one creator that wasn't created, he always existed. Now we see him as separated entities, but that is false. It's a trap of the ego, or evil, whatever you gonna call it.

The ego is trying to steal the place of God, making us identify with him and not with who we really are. The "I AM".

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

@Keyblade Viking *ERASING RELIGIOUS DOGMA*

huh? The real dogma of any religion is thinking you're separate from all of the things they preach, to think that the story of Jesus is not about us, to think that the temple of Solomon is not our own temple, to think that we were not living as Adam and Eve in paradise before we, each and every one of us betrayed God and killed our brother Abel.

Then you can buy in to a bunch of other dogmas where you refuse to see past the "information" or fake knowledge you have already acquired but I'm not sure what you're referring to right now.

You're probably right to be honest!

That's what I always thought, imagine the ancient people which didn't know about psychology, or anything of the new sciences. They call the ego "devil", because that's how it feels sometimes, hehehe... we want to do correct thing and we end  doing a different thing. Crazy.

That's what's really strange about the human mind. We get caught up in these mind games where we perceive the ego as the devil but that gets us no closer to enlightenment because that in itself is a judgment...

I think John Lennon got it accurately when he said that 'God is a concept by which we measure our pain'

@GeorgeLawson  I am finding a lot of things mentioned in the bible and religions that now are beginning to make sense and helping me to unlearn those labels and mind games. For example, in the bible it says that we have not to make images of nothing in heaven.

And I just realized listening to an Alan Watts video, that we have an image of god on our mind. But, depending on our spiritual growth we think on images like statues, etc. that's our first association.

And then I learned that those images are also created in our minds, such as ideas, concepts, etc.

You can't answer that question through philosophy. If you did, you'd end up with a concept (a word or definition), right? Then you've got another problem: what's the origin of that concept? Words only point to other words (just check out a dictionary), therefore you can never get to anything essential through language (read: philosophical enquiry).

In stead of calling your perceived reality a Creation it's probably more accurate to call it an Expression. Like an expressionistic painting is the expression of the subconscious mind of the painter. The painter and the painting are the same thing, the painter is exploring it's own mind and possibilities in abstract forms and shapes projected with paint on a blank canvas. A good painter can paint things he didn't even know were in his mind, it was inconceivable until expressed.

"You" started out as a single cell and grew to the fully fledged human being you are today. That cell contained information to become the multi-celled organism you are today. The thing you consider you is a part of the expression of the information in the DNA of your cells. Of course, in conjunction with "external" influences. The internal and the external data you have come across are like two ideas intersecting to create a new idea, a new and unique way of expression.
