What Is It About Charles Manson’s Followers that Made Them Want to Follow Him

Give me your opinion please.  I see this phenomenon play out out in a wider way potentially and I wanna get your insights too before I start to crystallize around any kind of answers.

Why would anyone follow anyone? There are tons of reasons why, and each individual will probably give you a unique reason they follow their leader. Why do we listen to Leo? You believe in his vision. Manson had tons of energy and spoke in a way unlike anyone else. He explained his vision with high clarity, then instilled in them a call to action. When you’re living with people (like Manson did with his followers), it’s even more dramatic. In my opinion, all of them were just tired of society’s rules and decided they wanted to follow their own. But from a spiritual perspective, the ideas that society holds and instills in its citizens is JUST as crazy as Mansons

@Wyatt I don’t follow Leo, I follow his work.  To me that’s a big and relevant distinction.  And to clarify further, I don’t follow Leo’s work per se, his work influences me to do my own work.  The only thing I follow is my own intuition.  I’ve always had an aversion to followers or sheep as they’re sometimes called.  I ain’t no sheep and don’t ever wanna be one either.  I wouldn’t say I’m a shepherd either.  It bothers me when preachers refer to their congregation as their flock.  I mean, really?  To my ears that rings a lot of alarm bells.
