Self inquiry during sleep

This night I had an experience of recognizing that I am that which is aware of deep sleep. It was a very peaceful experience and nice to recognise you are there while there is absolutely no content. 

My memory of the event is something like static. Im not even sure it happened exactly as I say or if it was just in a dream phase. All I know is my subconscious is continuing the inquiry during night time.

Cool... yeah I have had similar experiences like that. Lately I don’t even dream at all. Maybe such states of sleep could be an extension of how we live day to day. 

Anyway that sounds rather nice??
