@Algi If you watch a video it's on the bottom in the right corner. Next to the fullscreen symbol there is a wheel symbol. If you click it you can set the speed of the video.

If you can't find it just google how to increase the speed on youtube. There might be even Youtube videos on how to do that. xD

I enjoy my occasional piece (or two) of greasy meat or cake even more, now that i can predict that it wont affect me in any sort of way if i give it a minute of thought.

One thing I became aware of was that everything happens on a molecular level (everything is vibration). When you take this into account for eating - we must think of how the animal, one chooses to eat, has lived its live; has it lived in fear for the majority? how healthy was the animal? etc...

By eating an animal, factory raised and living in fear most of it's life, one is essentially taking on board its DNA and altering our own.

Do you really have the time to be eating greasy hamburgers etc.

The plant based diet gives you a new way of thinking, a new connection without the unstable vibrations of fear.

Converting motivational videos on youtube to mp3 format to download to my phone. So I can get some motivational boost on the go. Listening to it everyday  like on the bus to work, It actually made me not play video games for 2 straight weeks. And I've actually been doing more productive things for the longest time ever. It's like it registers in your unconscious.

So my third life hack is a huge one for me. It comes from the yogic tradition. I use energized water (left overnight in a copper jug) with half a lemon or lime and some honey. I drink it in the morning and it keeps me alert, energized and satisfied until i take my first meal at about 12. Recently i added some MSM powder. It has several benifits which you can google. I eat no meat and very rarely fish so i'm experimenting a little with it.

  • 20-50 push-ups after waking up/stretching + cold shower afterwards and of course meditation/life contemplation (10 mins is enough for me)
  • drinking water with turmeric in the morning before breakfast (more info here)
  • downloading youtube inspirational/self help videos as mp3 and listening on the way to work/school (I use this site)
  • if you eat an apple, eat it ALL with seeds inside - anticancer vitamins and many more benefits
  • do not use sugar in coffee or tea, especially if you drink a lot of coffee during the day, generally cut on sugar

Meditate - Many people tell me that I'm wasting my time but in fact I'm saving a lot more time than those who don't.

- listen to (self-help-) audiobooks wherever you go alone (like shopping, bus rides, when doing boring stuff like laundry, dishes, when walking anywere). This will give you tons of time well spent, and you are not missing anything. Also reduces negative monkey talk in your head during that time.

- Count your calories. This may sound terrible and I actively avoided it for years, but its THE most powerful tool for any weight problems or muscle gaining/health issues you might have. Those numbers wont lie and you will never have a "bad feeling" when eating anymore because you know for a fact whats enough and what not. Its actually a great relief, because you can NOT eat by hunger and feeling alone in a world full of processed food, hidden calories and social eating habits.

I enjoy my occasional piece (or two) of greasy meat or cake even more, now that i can predict that it wont affect me in any sort of way if i give it a minute of thought.

sorry to this late reply, but dont you think its better listen self help audiobooks fully aware  while you are at home and taking notes than doing it while you are walking down the street?. Youd enjoy more the present moment.

Wow an awesome post, I'll be sharing multiple life hacks as they come

Water is absorbed better cold than not by your body so that equals better hydration, which in turn comes with a lot of health benefits.

Grapes according to Dr. Sheridan help with either cancelling out cancer or helping with cancer

Dr. Sheridans website Healthforce website offers a tea called Earth that has so many nutritional natural compounds, that when I took it I felt this calming zen feeling for my body, my body said I love you right after =)

I have copied your habit of drinking cold water and now Ive done it an  habit, it feels better

"I gently pushed my hand into my pocket and pulled the last one out, it trembled at first and clung to my hand. "Go on, it will be ok," I whispered. Encouraged, it flexed its wings and I knew the time was right. It flew up towards the blue, blue sky and I looked proudly as it's made its way to freedom. The last of my fucks was finally given."

Some of mine:

  • Wear blue light blocking glasses in the evenings (bodyclock).
  • At least 30 minutes of walking, preferably in the mornings (bodyclock and health).
  • Qiqong exercises for loosening muscles (although I don't do this enough).
  • Two Brazil nuts a day, for selenium intake, which may displace heavy metals (don't overdose though).
  • Vitamin D supplements daily.
  • Omega 3 supplements daily, to re-balance against Omega 6.
  • Automate all regular bills through my bank.
  • Meditate whilst walking, or driving.
  • Shave in the shower, saves time and you soon learn to do it by feel.
  • Eat sardines regularly which are low in heavy metals.
  • Salads for lunch to stop the afternoon slump.
  • Use sea salt instead of table salt if necessary, but don't salt foods if not.
  • No caffeine at all, no tea, coffee, chocolate, cocal cola
  • Don't listen to, watch or read news: for improved mental health.
  • Lifestyle minimalism, only have stuff which is useful or has value.
  • Regular introspection habit, via this forum and journal.
  • Use olive oil in cooking and preparation
  • Low alcohol consumption: one or two units a week
  • Try to keep sugar intake to a minimum, no cakes, sweets or fizzy drinks
  • Leave at least an hour after getting up before having breakfast

10 pushups a day minimum...

  • I get the same psychology feeling of getting something done while also doing something I know I can do everyday, even on my worst days.
  • in terms of muscles... over time it could add up.

Spine rotations

  • When I'm stressed, this can really induce a deep feeling of relaxation
  • Little effort
  • the science says it activates the parasympathetic N.S.

Centering exercise

  • rock back and forth and side to side until you find your center of gravity below your belly button
  • helps when I'm feeling stressed or chaotic and ungrounded to get back to center and evaluate what is best for me to actually be doing and think more clearly.
