There Is No Quiet Room To Be Alone

Greetings of the day!

I got a problem - my wife watches TV shows like big band every evening and it roars throughout the apartement.

But I really want to generally develop this sitting quitely by myself evening routine.

I am looking at choices of takling the problem:

- Buying active noise cancellation headphones

- Listening again in headphones to some loud meditation music

- Going to the quitest place of the appartement so that with time noise will not capture my chimp attention

Ideas/suggestions/stick-to-the-head are welcomed

I don't have a wife, so maybe I'm asking the impossible... But can't she just turn down the volume a bit?

I assume you have a penis, so you might be able to do that.

@Alex K Whatever your gender is, she's or he's (or whatever  ) is the partener you choose to be with.
So either this partner is a real one and gives you some time do to what matters to you, or you quit her/him.

@Alex K Sorry If I'm too abrupt, I don't really know from where it comes from, it's nothing personal.
I'm recently realizing I could be way more gentle and still saying the things that matters, I'm currently working on this

I block outside noise by listening to tracks with nature bird sounds in them. I use headphones. I don't like classical music and music with lyrics disturbs my concentration.

@Alex K Go to Walmart and buy a box of foam earplugs for $3.

You could even buy a set of gun-range quality ear muffs.
