The Moment Of Your Birth Is Just A Story!

Hello Guys !

 

After watching Leo’s video last night, I went to do self-inquiry. So I lay in my bed, asking questions and trying to observe my Inner Self.

 

I do not want to spend your time here by dropping into details, but I want to share with you something.

 

So after about 15 min of my inquiry I received a little insight. Please contemplate it with me too. Here it is: we do not remember the moment of our birth. How many of you remember yourself when you were 2, 3 years old? I think I can go back as far as I was 3. You? Please share if you can.

 

So, what was the most significant thing to realize for me, that the moment of my birth is just another story…….

 

I really do not remember how the Reality popped up.  Isn’t it significant? All we remember is just different chunks of information from childhood with stories. But we do not remember the exact day or time we appeared here.

 

I would appreciate a lot if you can spend some time and tell me your ideas about it.

Memory starts with thinking. Thinking starts at 3 years of age. That`s why memories don`t go back further than 3 years.

memory was not needed for survival back then. as you got older and more "independent" you develop higher mechanisms for survival. memory and abstract thought being some of them. this vague and i'm speaking of that body, not "you"

All my memories are first person.  If you see yourself in third person that may be a form of detachment from your memory.

When Leo was taking about changes in reality yesterday, I wanted to add: “ every single bit of this Ego is changing, that illusory Ego is never ever the same. It is not constant. Always shifting.

 

I have a very clear feeling that I am refreshed every moment I am in. If Ego really existed, it would be constant.

 

Seems like Reality is just a frozen Now with millions of changing slides of infinite movie.

the Now is seen in your current perception as stuckness (frozen) 

you also see movie as other than who you are (ego=bad) 

also, reality is shaped around the you which does not exist

I am so happy that Leo created this forum for us, because I feel support by sharing my ideas and “hearing” the feedback.

 

I just need to share, that is all. It is like being a kid and discovering new toys, that is how I feel.

Thank you Pinocchio, I get that. Thanks to God was thought this in school, I do not understand why it is so important, though, it is still a memory, with regards, am I correct?
