After Life And Hell

I don't know what will happen after death, I just know we will exist. But the idea of hell bothers me, why would God create it in the first place, sounds too harsh to me. I was brought up in a very religious family, and sometimes I'm even scared that they may be right. It feels like I have abandoned something big and that I'm going to get punished for it. But it just doesn't make any sense to me. 

Anyhow, what are your thoughts about hell?

@Highest It's awful but not in the way you would think, eternal torment and all that.

I will explain further when you die you either go to heaven or hell as per the bible. But what happens when you body dies is a different story. Can't say to be honest haven't happened to me yet as far as I know.

I think we all deep inside know it. Because of the present moment, which always exists, and the paradox of being «unconscious» for eternity. You can't be conscious of being unconscious, UNLESS unconsciousness is simply consciousness without content, meaning it's eternal. That's the only thing that makes sense to me, at least.
