Meditate Or Self-inquire?

Sometimes, when I sit to do self-inquiry, I'll question my existential nature, who I think I am, and  what reality is for about 5 minutes, but then I won't feel any more need to continue with that and I'll just sit in a pretty deep, meditative silence. Should I be forcing the questioning to continue or just sit in the silence whenever it arises?

Instead of questioning yourself, a more effective method is just be aware of the I-feeling and I-sense, or awareness continously... that's like 10000 questioning worth per moment

Not to be disrespectful, but do you have direct experience to back that up?

Yes, I already said it a few topics back, I am experiencing most of the day bliss and love.

You don't have to listen to me though, there are great Yogi's that have used this method all the way to self realization within 3 years usually

I would advise you to search for information. Check Noah Elkrief. HE has the clearest information and truth. But always trust your experience.

I prefer Self enquiry before the meditation.

After enquiring for some time, then when it comes to an answer that can not be explained, you just be silent stop enquiring and begin the deep mediation.
