This soundtrack makes me  stop everything I'm doing and just focus on being present. It also makes me very happy and grateful for living. I'd say it's perfect for journaling and contemplation. 

I also like tracks from Mr. Nobody and Amelie which lift me up and keep me grounded.

Reason: This has helped me work through distress, fear, and horrific thoughts. I would set aside 30 to 40 minutes, turn off all your lights in your room (it's better if you're the only one in the house), and if you can be alone at night, do it then. You will soon find that you can only meditate with this music for a little while, and it will take some time before you can be comfortable with music of this genre. Of course, this mostly applies to people like me who have had poor adaptation to fearful situations, thoughts, feelings, etc...

Personal Development for sure

As a fan of rap/hip-hop its awesome to hear a dude rap about higher consciousness topics and to do it with a tight flow, funky beats and dope hooks

Usually in rap its all about cars, money, and "hoes"

Idk why they always talk about gardening tools ;p but its really inspiring to see consciousness flowering in all walks of life

I chose songs from Tame Impala's latest album Currents.  If you don't listen to them they're a Pychedelic rock band from Australia.  I think it's not always noticeable because its a pop sound but I think their music is full of spiritual ideas. I began the spiritual path because I pretty much the loner depressed type and I was tired of it. I didn't pursue self discovery because of them but I will say that when I play their songs it helps me fall in love with the journey if I'm ever feeling doubtful or lazy or something like that.

 What I enjoy most about them is their subtlety. I mean, it's pop and that's not usually touted as the genre to make you conscious but in a way i think it should be though right?  And I know this thread is supposed to be about songs specifically on spirituality but I couldn't help myself and i think with these songs, if you're listening closely,you'll get it or find  the spiritual nuggets in them. Also, If you can't tell already,Im a massive fan Lol

This one i thought was interesting because it's like subtle reminder that you're  holding onto a thought stream or an emotion or a realisation? I could be reaching. But hopefully the music does for you what it does for me which inspires the journey deeper into self discovery   Happy listening
