Strange Dream

3 posts in this topic

Last night I had a very weird dream. In this dream ( This is the part that I still remember) I was holding a gun. There was a strange looking person in front of me. At some point my vision became hazy and there was a lot of pain in my heart area. The person said to me “ You know you are infected. You have two choices now, live with suffering for the rest of your life or end it now.” For some reason there was no hesitation in my body, I pointed the gun at my temple and fired. There was short sting  I felt but after that there was complete darkness. No thoughts, no feelings, no perceptions, nothing. There was just this awareness that was present. Awareness without any experience to fill it up. Just awareness. It felt very strange to me.

What could this dream mean? I know this is kind of a weird story but for some reason it had a very deep effect on me.

there lay an invincible summer.

@Max_V perhaps you're shown mini enlightenment - everything in dreams is simulation. Perhaps also reality is a simulation, but it's a more real simulation.

I had a very interesting dream this night. It had to do with my desire for money. The entire dream was so elaborately made that it made me think deeply.... Who the fuuuuuuuuck made this dream. It also felt like a deja-vu! A huge deja-vu at the end when I was running with full pockets. It was also the way it was because of the Ego (Me - Dodo) being the main character, with his likes, dislikes and wants. It felt like the waking me. In fact the dream was so realistic to me that I thought it was reality while it was happening.

The first thing I remember was I put 20p in a roulette machine - It was some sort of a fragmented roulette machine where numbers were everywhere and there were blocks that pushed the 20p around until it landed. It landed on 0 - So I lost. The next thing I know, the machine is trying to gobble my 20p, but instead misses the hole and I decide to take the 20p and put it in again to play with.

BANK ERROR (thanks, monopoly) occurred. I remember vividly how I remembered within the dream "Wow, I played monopoly just few days ago and I was wondering why these types of errors never happen in real life" - which is a factually correct memory - it was like I was the waking me (ego) more than ever before, the entire dream - connected with my memories, desires and etc.

The coins started dropping from the machine at a huge rate, making strong noise, but the guy that worked there either made himself not notice, or he was not hearing well. I started putting all the coins in every pocket I could find. I filled up 4 pockets full of coins and started running out of there. I felt like it could be 1000+ in coins, the prospect of which made me feel very good. Also the prospect of stealing from the thieving casino.

So I start running and this fear of getting caught is there, lurking... I have a huge deja-vu feeling. It felt like I've been running in this same place before. I knew there was real danger of getting caught, so while running, this Eckhart Tolle wisdom came to me - to accept all possibilities and surrender to what is. Be ok with not getting caught, be ok with getting caught. It is what is. Or as Osho says: "Gold or no Gold, it's all the same, so always choose the new".

I dropped that fear and ran more, I think I escaped.

I woke up and I can't believe this was a dream. I thought this actually happened lol, I was so sure and felt so happy I had just won so much cash :D

I bet this here has a lot to do with this dream as I listened to it 2 days ago:

@Dodo Yes these dreams can feel so vivid and real it’s unbelievable. Before this dream I described, I had another one where my hair would fall out slowly. In this dream I was remembering how recently I had found a lot of hair on my sleeping pillow. So weird how you can even have simulated memories in sleep. Also over time, I started noticing bald spots. Which really shocked the hell out of me :D
