Nootropics

4 posts in this topic

I know generally drugs are not in favour here in the Actualized.org community, but do you guys think Nootropics is the exception? Nootropics is a drug, but from my experience all it does, pretty much, is reduce brain fatigue. If it's a tool to increase productivity, why not right?

I have just tried phenypiracetam a few times, and that's it. Are there any long time users who have found smart drugs to be a negative influence on their path of actualization?

@Gerhard, My perspective is simple: Anytime you use drugs, you actually sign away your own power. You say, I'm not strong enough to produce the energy I need to accomplish my tasks, duties, dreams - what ever drives you.

Inspect you thoughts. Why do you think you need a power supply from the outside?

Maybe what you really lack is some form of detoxification and some body excersize?

(See, I don't know your circumstances, that's why I can not really tell.)

Chris

@Gerhard Have taken Piracetam for a long time (not continuously but over many periods of several months). I took also Oxiracetam a few times ....

Besides the general side effects of this drugs I think there is no negative influence on self-actualization in general. I think meditation works a bit better but you shouldn't be dependent on any drug to meditate at any time at all ....
