i can see what your saying but i believe you have the wrong idea/concept of artificial intelligence.

what do you mean by "inventing a fancy labels."

Artificial is a very large field and there is a lot of different approach you can take to make an intelligent program. 

I obviously like AI (based on how i'm coming off) for now.

I actually study it and Symbolic artificial intelligence is where the real fun is.

When i say AI i mean a machine that is self-aware.

There are no selves. There will certainly be combinations of hardware and software that are superior in intelligence to humans, but that does not create a self.
