Ideas From "braving The Wilderness" By Brenè Brown

5 posts in this topic

I distilled some practical wisdom from "Braving the Wilderness" by Brenè Brown in this video. Hope you find it helpful on your Hero's Journey of Actualizing! :)

P.S. Would *highly* appreciate any honest comments on what you think I can start or stop doing to improve the Episodes. :D

I must say I did not really hear what you say in the video because I was so distracted by title and Logo of your channel: Why copy Leo?

I'm pretty irritated by that: Why not go for a different name and branding? Personally I do think that is pretty lame. I'd take time and effort to come up with something uniquely yours. But that needs exactly that: time and effort.

And from a marketing viewpoint this is really a bad choice. If you are to copy someone that obviously, it would have to be outstanding as not to come accross second best.

@vibrate Thank you for your honesty, vibrate. I appreciate it, and get why the title and Logo might have come across as unfitting.

If you want to know the reason I chose the name Actualize: Read the book "Your One Word" by Evan Carmichael, all about reflecting on the One Word that captures what makes you come alive; what captures the essence of you as a human being. Actualize was the one, as becoming a better person and helping others do that too has always been important to me.

And for the logo: Wanted to go for a simple one, something people can easily recognize.

The intention was never to copy Leo (or my #1 hero, Brian Johnson, with his business Optimize). Hope you found something useful from this extra bit of information.

Best wishes,
Frode

@vibrate You might be right. :)

I probably would have picked that if I hadn't chosen to do the work in English.

Cheers!
